It's that time of year again, when we fire up the proverbial Hot Stove. Hot Stove is a great excuse to get out for a couple of hours on a Thursday night and visit with other community members while hearing all sorts of interesting and entertaining speakers. Hot Stove is a free event that happens every other Thursday night at 6:00PM from January 29 to April 23 in the Lovells Township Hall at 8405 Twin Bridge Rd (1/4 mile north of CR612). Every dollar of our budget comes from donations, grants or, sometimes, ticket sales for the community events we put on. Not only do we preserve and exhibit the fascinating history of the area, we try to enrich our community life with events throughout the year. Another Community Pot Luck Christmas Party is in the books and a good time was had by all. Many thanks to all that came and to everyone that brought a dish and a special thanks to the Cheerful Givers Club for making sure all the kids that attended received presents from their Special Guest. It's here, tonight's the night! Our annual Fall Upland Dinner starts at 6 PM tonight. There's no admission charge (but we'd appreciate a donation) and it's going to be a great night so please join us.
