Another Successful Season Comes to a Close
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone whose contributions, hard work, and dedication made the 2026 Upland Fundraiser such a success. The entire event exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful to everyone who played a part. Special thanks to Lyle for his persistence and commitment in coordinating the catering. The meal was exceptional!
We also extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed desserts. They were very much enjoyed. The silent auction was exceptionally well organized and generated significant revenue. We are grateful to all those who donated quality items that inspired enthusiastic bidding and helped make the auction such a success.
The Hunting Dog Calendar was well received, and we plan to produce another edition for 2028. Please get in touch if you would like information about how to be included in the next calendar. We are also pleased to recognize Tyler and Bethany Stiles for their considerable assistance and support in greeting guests and managing cashier duties. Their help was greatly appreciated.
We are fortunate to have dedicated DNR professionals such as Tim Riley, Tom Barnes, and Bruce Barlow working to ensure the responsible and professional stewardship of our natural resources. Many thanks to them for taking the time to attend and support this event. Finally, we must acknowledge the efforts of the LTHS Board in sponsoring, organizing, and conducting this fundraiser. Their commitment makes events like this possible. Most importantly, we thank our guests and supporters, whose generosity and continued interest are the very reason we work to preserve, operate, and manage our museums and historical society. Thank you all for your time, generosity, and commitment. Your efforts made this event a success, and we look forward to building on that success together in the years ahead.
