Dear Members and Friends,

The Lovells Township Historical Society 2026 season is coming to a close with our Annualk Upland Dinner fundraiser and on Saturday October 17th at the township hall. The event will offer a delicious meal for a donation, interesting speakers, and a variety of great auction items. Pre-ordered Hunting Dog Calendars will be available for pickup, with a few extra copies available for purchase, and we will also draw the winner of the 2026 Raffle.

We have had a wonderful year and hope you enjoyed visiting the DNR exhibit in the Trout Museum and the "Life in Lovells" display in the School House Museum.

We extend our sincere thanks to the LTHS Board members and everyone who helped with our displays and events, participated in a Hot Stove night, or appeared on a podcast or YouTube program. We are also deeply grateful to the donors whose financial support enables us to continue serving the community. Special congratulations and thanks to Tim Riley, our 2026 addition to the Unsung Heroes Display.

Looking ahead to the 2027 season, we have an exciting lineup in progress:

  - Hot Stove Program: A new series of interesting and informative speakers.

  - School House Museum: A monthly display highlighting quilting and fabric arts, featuring members of the Lovells Loose Threads quilting group.

  - Trout Museum: A new focus on fly fishing themes in film and music.

Please plan to visit the museums or attend an event during the 2027 season. Thank you for your continued participation and support—we look forward to seeing you again.

Best regards,

The LTHS Board
