Thanks Lewie, for a great Hot Stove! Everyone loved hearing your stories and learning about your book, it was an entertaining and very enjoyable evening. For those of you that missed our second Hot Stove of the season...don't fret, you can watch the whole evening on our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/@LovellsHistory or on our Website. Just look for the "Live" section and don't forget that we will be livestreaming each Hot Stove this season. We would love to see you there in person but if you can't make it tune in on YouTube.
Next on the Hot Stove Schedule at 6 PM on Thursday February 26th is Tim Riley, a MIDNR Wildlife Technician. Tim was in charge of the Lower Peninsula Wolf Survey among other things DNR and he'll be talking about habitat as well as some of the joint projects they are working on with other organizations. With Spring just around the corner it's also a good time to talk about Bears! Tim's a great speaker with loads of knowledge and information so mark your calendars.
Hot Stove happens at the Lovells Township Hall at 8405 Twin Bridge Rd, (just north of CR612) every other Thursday until April 23rd. Hot Stove is free to attend and we encourage guests to bring refreshments to enjoy and treats to share. Coffee is provided.
