We Welcome Mark Hendricks to our Roster of Unsung Heroes

Mark Hendricks
Mark Hendricks

We're singing about him now but, like the rest of the people recognized in our Unsung Heroes of the Au Sable exhibit in the Museum of Trout Fishing History, Mark's accomplishments and contributions to the river and our communities deserve high praise, deep respect and some serious gratitude.

Stop by the museum (across from Lovells Township Hall at 8405 Twin Bridge Rd, Grayling, MI 49738) and read about Mark and some of the many things he has done for our river, our towns and for us. While you're there you can read about some of the others who have made a genuine difference in our little corner of the world. You can also check out this season's exhibit on Bamboo Rod Building and buy a ticket to win a handcrafted bamboo fly rod.

If you run into Mark shake his hand and offer your congratulations for this little recognition and maybe say thanks for all he has done for us.

The Museum of Trout Fishing History and the Lone Pine Schoolhouse are open Saturdays 11-3 until October 18 when they close for the winter. They are also open by appointment so feel free to send us an email to request a visit at info@lovelllshistory.org.
