Mr. & Mrs. Jellison from Hartland, MI visited our museums today. They were very impressed with the quilting exhibit in the Lone Pine Schoolhouse and had a special interest in our Bamboo Rod Making exhibit in the Museum of Trout Fishing History. Mr. Jellison brought in his grandfather's 10 foot cane rod, made by J.B. Daniels in Auburn, Maine in the 1920's. We really enjoyed getting to see this vintage rod. Mr. Jellison is fortunate to have a truly vintage rod in pristine condition.
Kathy Jellison was thrilled to find three prints that were created by her brother, Jerry Horan. These Horan prints were donated to the museum by Steve and Jo Keim earlier this year. It was a great visit for the Jellisons and for us!
If you have anything interesting you would like to show off or donate we would love to see it.
