New Windows in the Schoolhouse!

Have you seen what we did? Yes, the Lone Pine Schoolhouse, aka Kellogg School, has new windows! Thanks to a grant from the Great Lakes Energy People Fund we have been able to replace the Schoolhouse windows with new, custom built, windows from Eikenhout in Gaylord. These new windows will help ensure the structural integrity of the Schoolhouse for years to come and they will help protect all the historical contents of the museum.

Many thanks to the GLE People Fund, to everyone that 'rounds up' to contribute to the fund and to Roger Perry, Richard Perry and George Charney for helping to install the new windows. Our community is full of people giving their all to make everything better.

For those interested in a piece of Lovells history we will be selling the old windows. You can have a piece of the original 1907 Lone Pine Schoolhouse for your very own. Each window sash will come with a small brass plaque commemorating the source of the window along with a certificate of authenticity.
