The Lovells Township Historical Society was delighted to once again host participants of Trout Unlimited's Trout Camp. This annual event allows us to engage with a wonderful group of young conservationists. Former LTHS President John Porteous ensures that the visit is enjoyable for both the campers and our board volunteers. Each camper received a special exhibit pin commemorating their visit to the Lovells Museum of Trout Fishing this year.
Trout Unlimited's Youth Conservation Efforts
Trout Unlimited is dedicated to fostering a love for the outdoors and promoting conservation among youth. Through their Trout Camp, they provide hands-on experiences that educate campers about aquatic ecosystems, fish biology, and the importance of preserving our natural resources. Participants engage in various activities, including fishing, stream monitoring, and habitat restoration projects.
