Two weeks ago we made ferrules in the museum, yep we had Mark Wendt, his lathe, and several rods of Nickle Silver. We made ferrules for our new rod and tomorrow we will be installing them on the rod at the Museum. If you'd like to watch in person you're welcome\, we'll probably start around 11 or so. Or, you can catch it on our website or Youtube channel in a few days.
We're taking craft to the highest level and building a beautiful bamboo fly rod. You can buy raffle tickets to win this rod for $25 each. We will draw the raffle in October at our Fall Upland Dinner & Fundraiser, please consider joining us!
Our Fall Upland Dinner will happen October 18, 2025, 6-9 pm,
at the Lovells Township Hall, 8405 Twin Bridge Rd, Grayling, MI 49738 (just north of CR 612 on Twin Bridge.
