Join us at the Museum as we Wrap Ferrules & Add a Reel Seat and Grip to our Custom Bamboo Fly Rod

ree

Come and watch our master rod builders at work as we take on the next step in the rod making process to wrap the ferrules and add a reel seat and grip to our 7'2" Paul Young Driggs River replica. In case you didn't know we've been building this rod all summer at the Museum of Trout Fishing History in Lovells, Michigan and once it is finished we will raffle it off at our Fall Upland Dinner & Fundraiser.

You can buy tickets at the museum, on our website or from any Board Member. Each ticket costs $25 and the lucky winner will receive this hand crafted bamboo fly rod. We are also video taping the rod building process so you can watch from home on our Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@LovellsHistory) or our website (https://www.lovellshistory.org/video-youtube).

The Lovells Museum of Trout Fishing History is located adjacent to Lovells Township Hall at 8405 Twin Bridge Rd, northeast of Grayling, Michigan.
