Great Lakes Energy People Fund Provides Valuable Resources to Area Non-Profits

ree

As some of you may have heard, the Lovells Township Historical Society recently received $6,000 from the GLE People Fund. We will be using these funds to replace the windows in the Lone Pine Schoolhouse Museum, helping to ensure it remains standing for the next generation.

This grant highlights the significant contributions the Great Lakes Energy People Fund makes throughout the cooperative's service area. Members can choose to round up their bill to the next highest dollar and this simple act creates the People Fund and helps hundreds of organizations like the Lovells Township Historical Society.. If you are a GLE member and you 'round up' we thank you! If you are not rounding up take a look at how your small change can make a difference in your community.. The People Fund gave out almost $200,000 to over 40 organizations this year and LTHS is very happy to be one of them.
